Reservation Management & Operational Roles
Role access for reservations (Owner read-only, Manager & Host operational), complete booking fields, and table assignment.
Operational Permissions & Booking Scope
Table reservation capabilities are included across all OCTK subscription plans.
Operational reservation management (creating bookings, editing arrival times, assigning tables, changing statuses, and cancellations) is performed by the Branch Manager and Host.
The Owner has a read-only overview of reservations across branches and does not manage daily booking operations directly.
Customer Website does not support online table reservation bookings; reservations are recorded directly by in-restaurant staff. Note that the walk-in waiting list is entirely separate from booked reservations.
Confirmed Booking Fields & Table Assignment
Each reservation captures a complete operational profile for the visiting party.
Confirmed Reservation Fields:
• Customer Name and Phone Number
• Guest Count (party size)
• Reservation Date and Reservation Time
• Expected Duration (e.g., 90 minutes)
• Area / Dining Area preference
• Table Assignment: The system provides Smart Table Suggestions based on party size, reservation timing, and currently available tables. The Branch Manager or Host can accept the suggested table or manually select another suitable available table. The system performs final conflict and availability validation, preventing double bookings.
• Reservation Status (Confirmed, Waiting, Arrived, Seated, Cancelled)
• VIP Flag and Birthday / Celebration Flag
• Special Notes (Order and Seating preferences)
Cancellation Rules: The Branch Manager and Host can cancel a reservation operationally at any time without requiring a cancellation reason. A cancelled reservation cannot be restored or reopened. For customers with pre-orders, cancellation is permitted only before the advance pre-order is dispatched to the kitchen; once the pre-order reaches the kitchen, customer cancellation is locked.
