Low Stock Alerts & Ordering Behavior

Threshold triggers, warning banners, purchasing notices, and automatic dish unavailability thresholds.

Thresholds vs Dish Availability

Low stock thresholds serve as proactive operational warnings and do NOT automatically disable ordering.

Each raw material item has an independently configurable Low Stock Alert Quantity threshold. When the current balance drops below or equals this threshold, visual alerts and notifications are received by the Owner, Branch Manager, and Inventory Employee to prompt timely replenishment.

Menu dishes remain orderable while in low stock warning state. A dish is only automatically marked as "Unavailable" when actual stock is insufficient to prepare a single complete recipe portion.
