Dish Configuration & Inventory Linking
Each menu dish is configured with exact operational fields. Modifiers, variants, sub-sizes, and extras are not supported in V1.
Dish fields include: Item Name, Price, optional Employee Price Override (for staff purchases), Prep Time, Menu Category, Kitchen Station, Availability toggle, optional Image, optional Short Description, and the Recipe Builder.
Attaching a Recipe in the Recipe Builder is mandatory before saving a dish. A menu item automatically becomes unavailable if current inventory is insufficient to prepare one complete recipe portion.
