Payment Recording & External Terminal Operations
Recording Cash and Card transactions; external payment terminal separation.
OCTK Payment Recording Architecture & Settlement Roles
Payment recording and bill closure can be performed by the Branch Manager, Host, or Owner (Waiters cannot close or settle payments).
OCTK Restaurant OS is an operational recording engine and does NOT process credit card payments directly.
Restaurants use their own external bank POS card terminals. During checkout, Host, Manager, or Owner selects the recorded payment method (Cash or Card) to finalize the transaction and update financial reports.
In Restaurant Setup, the Owner can configure accepted payment methods (such as Cash, Card, QR Payment, and Bank Transfer). Note that Split Bill is an operational procedure for dividing a check, not a payment method.
External Payment Hardware Independence
Process card transactions on your external bank terminal, then record the result as Cash or Card in OCTK to generate the official invoice.
