Driver Responsibilities & Operational Boundaries
Delivery drivers operate using the dedicated OCTK Driver Android application.
Kitchen and preparation states (In Kitchen and Ready) are updated by restaurant and kitchen staff. Once the order reaches "Assigned", it belongs to the assigned Driver.
The Driver can: (1) receive assigned deliveries on the mobile app, (2) proceed with pickup, (3) move the order to "Out For Delivery", (4) complete the delivery to "Delivered", and (5) cancel after assignment by providing a mandatory cancellation reason.
Live GPS route tracking begins automatically at Picked Up / Out For Delivery, broadcasting location progress to management until delivery completion.
Drivers do NOT accept or reject incoming customer orders, and drivers do NOT record or process cash collections. All order pricing and financial records are handled within the restaurant system.
